IIT Gandhinagar Recruitment 2022 Job Details:
Research Associate in Biomedical Ultrasound Imaging
Job Description
The Research Associate will perform interdisciplinary research focused on quantitative ultrasound and elasticity imaging at the Medical Ultrasound Engineering (MUSE) Lab. The position will provide opportunities to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team. The candidate should be self-motivated and deeply interested in biomedical research. The fellow will receive extensive training in ultrasound imaging and research methods, along with career guidance. IIT Gandhinagar provides a vibrant academic atmosphere and opportunities for interdisciplinary research collaborations.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering from recognized institutions/universities with excellent academic track record and publications. Candidates should have experience in biomedical ultrasound and expertise in finite element modelling of wave propagation. Previous experience with ultrasound instrumentation is desirable.
